A Special Constable with the Tourism Police Unit is out on bail after he assaulted his wife.
29-year-old Kenny Thompson Ferguson was charged with wounding and breach of a protection order in court today.
Late this evening, Ferguson appeared before Senior Magistrate, Tricia Pitts-Anderson where he was read a charge of wounding upon his wife, Nicole Ferguson. Ferguson pleaded not guilty.
Senior Magistrate, Tricia Pitts-Anderson granted him bail in the sum of $1,000 plus one surety of the same amount which he was able to meet by 4:00 this evening.
He is due back in Court on September 13, 2019.
Stringent bail conditions set out by Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson is that SC Ferguson is not to interfere with his wife in any way while the matter is before the court; he was also ordered not to call her, text her send word of mouth to her directly or indirectly.
