And in another weekend drug bust, a James bus was found with over 20 pounds of unclaimed weed. It was en route to Dangriga but was stopped by police in the village of Pomona. This morning ACP Myvette told us that the cops weren't able to tie the drugs to anyone on board. This morning we asked him how this bust could be connected to the one we just told you about, and the weed-filled gas tank discovered on Friday.

"The James Bus that was on route from Belize City where 20 pounds of weed was found once it had stopped in Pomona. How it may or may not e connected to the drugs Miss Cima was transporting and the drugs that was found in that gas tank last week."
ACP Joseph Myvett, Head, National Crimes Investigation Branch
"Ahm, I know that all those matters are under investigation. There were 3 separate finds. I cannot say at this point in time whether those parcels have similar markings, but it is an ongoing investigation in relation to the 3 seizers. As you know the one yesterday in Pomona which we spoke about was deposited as found property, because no one on the bus did claim those baggage."
