22 Year Old Dies In Fatal Accident

While no one was injured during that robbery, a 22-year-old man lost his life in a traffic accident in Teakettle Village, Cayo District on Monday night.

The victim, Joshua Tun, was driving a motorcycle on the George Price Highway with another passenger riding pillion when they collided into a traffic sign between miles 55 and 56. Tun reportedly lost control when he reached the S curve on the highway and both of the men were thrown off the motorcycle. When police arrived on the scene, they found Tun lying on the road. The passenger, 24-year-old Byron Barcenas complained of pain in his back and legs. They were both taken to the Western Regional Hospital, where Tun died while receiving treatment.
