Alrick's Speedy Escape From Drive By

Another man lucky to still be alive is 35-year-old Alrick Smith. He was shot in the neck and then drove himself to the hospital just before 5 yesterday evening. Smith was driving on Coney Drive when a blue Chrysler with no license plate drove up next to him. A man in the front passenger seat then pulled out a gun and fired two shots in his direction. The Chrysler then sped off towards the Philip Goldson Highway - while Smith made a bee-line for the KHMH. Smith was admitted into the hospital in a stable condition. This is not the first time Smith has been targeted. He was shot in his leg on May 19, 2016.
