Sometime before 9:00 last night, the Majestic Alley resident and several people were standing on North Front Street below the old city council building - which is a regular hangout. That's when a white Ford car drove by. Someone pushed a gun out the window, opened fire on the group, and vehicle sped off.

Sutherland, who's a stevedore at the Port of Belize, was hit and rushed to the KHMH in a critical condition.

Residents of the area tell us that he is not a trouble-maker and that his mother is currently in distress from hypertension.
