On Tuesday's news, we told you about the early morning, Corozal murder of 40-year-old Rigoberto Rosado. He's the Ranchito Villager who was shot and killed inside his yard, for still unknown reasons. Well, police from that northern town have made a quick arrest in this case.
The man who they think pulled the trigger is 27-year-old Jason Jonathan Espinosa, a resident of Pine Street, Halls Layout area, Corozal Town. Espinosa has been charged with 1 count of murder, and he will be arraigned and remanded to the Belize Central Prison at the earliest convenience.
As we reported, Rosado's family was awakened to the commotion of their dogs barking. They suspected that he was having an early morning until his brother heard the sounds of gunshots coming from the yard.
Rosado was rushed for medical treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries at the Northern Regional Hospital.
