Yesterday we told you about the murder of 45-year-old Lynroy Longsworth. It happened at around 4:00 pm when the "Dalla Van" taxi man was dropping off a passenger at the corner of Periwinkle and Mahogany streets. That's when a gunman pounced and shot him multiple times to the head.
It's a brutal broad daylight shooting that's left the victim's loved ones in shock. This afternoon his sister, who chose to appear off camera, told us that while allegations of a gang related execution form a consistent narrative. she only ever knew Lynroy as hardworking, loving, and kind.
