Four Men Missing For Over A Week

There are grave concerns for four Dangriga men who have been missing at sea for a more than a week.

On Saturday, December 11, 42-year-old Omar Thompson, 29-year-old Brenton Brackett, 19-year-old Leon Joseph, and Jeffery Gomez left from Dangriga on a fishing venture and have not returned.

But no report was made until Saturday the 19th. when Shani Alvarez reported that her husband Omar Thompson was missing at sea. She says she hasn't been able to reach him by cellphone since Friday the 10th.

A Coast guard search party was deployed on Saturday the 19th but as of yet there's been no sign of any of the fishing party or their vessel..

All four men are fishermen from Dangriga. The search continues.
