Three of the four shooting victims have been treated and released from the hospital. Clother is still admitted in a stable condition.
Today, the head of Eastern Division CIB said that the shooting was triggered by an old beef going back two years:

"We have gathered so far that the intended target was one of the five persons that were injured and it is because of an old dispute that had happened about, I believe, two years ago and they saw the opportunity to capitalize and it was where the incident actually happened."

"Gang rivalry."
Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"Yes."
Reporter
"So these men, how many suspects? How many persons do police believe carried out this act?"
Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"What we understand is that the suspects were inside of a vehicle and that a person who was sitting on the backseat, he was the one that fired several shots at these persons who were actually closing the garage."

"Any known suspects, named suspects? What are police looking at in terms of suspects?"
Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"We are looking at two persons that are from within that same area and we believe that they can assist us in this investigation."
Reporter
"It's very unfortunate this re-branded auto center seems to have been a hope in the community, a hope that may not be dashed, but a hope that obviously now is tainted with a murder and several shootings. How does police respond to the rising activity in that area?"
Supt. Alejandro Cowo
"I know that it was recently inaugurated with the new community hub and during that interview several persons were interviewed claiming to be past gang members and they are trying to change their lives. It is very unfortunate that the incident happened there because we believe that these persons are just trying to make a change and likewise trying to assist other to come in and to make a difference in the community and try to change that lifestyle they had been living. It really saddened the community because we can see that these guys were trying to change or assist others in changing, reference police presence, yes they have a number of police that are actually conducting patrols in that area to try to contain if there is possibility of any retaliation."
