We've already told you about the weekend spree of gang violence in the city - and 28-year-old Karen Pinto may have been caught up in that. Last night she was shot to her leg in a known gang zone.

Police say that she and another companion were targeted yesterday evening when they were trying to cross a "London Bridge" in the area of Antelope Street Extension. It is unclear who the intended target was. This morning, the head of Belize's City Criminal Investigations Branch told us what police know so far:
