As we told you last night, 19-year old special needs resident of Belmopan, Walter Gonzalez was fatally stabbed on Sunday night.
He was taken to the Western Regional Hospital and then transferred to the KHMH after doctors were unable to stop his bleeding. Gonzalez Would eventually become unresponsive and succumb to a stab wound.
That wound was inflicted during a fight with his step-father, 35-year-old Javier Chuc. Chuc allegedly stabbed the young man and took off on his bicycle with the weapon. Since then his whereabouts remain unknown.
This afternoon police issued a wanted poster for Chuc. They ask that anyone with information that could lead to his capture contact their nearest police station by calling 911, or one of the other numbers listed on the poster.
