The ComPol also gave us a brief update on another murder that occurred last week in Belize City. 43-year-old Jose Santos, a resident of Armenia, was shot inside his delivery truck in front of Tow Tow on Mahogany Street. It's a minifying murder because there does not appear to have been any robbery element. The police are now on the hunt for the murder suspects.

"The police are looking at two persons of interests and we are hoping that we will be able to narrow down on those persons and hopefully, if we gather sufficient information or evidence, we will be able to charge someone in respect to that murder."

Santos had been working at Jacky's Bakery in the 8 miles community - where he also resided to avoid commuting from Cayo to the Belize District.
