Now, last night's double murder can be linked to Percival Pilgrim's shooting yesterday afternoon on Banak Street - which is a gang zone. As we told you the 24-year-old was gunned down in a gang zone - shot multiple times, once to the head. He survived until 2:30 this morning when he died at the KHMH.
Today, we asked his aunt if he had been targeted:
Evelyn Franklin - Aunt of the deceased "I wasn't there but when they came they just said well Percival just got shot. But by the time I ran out there, it was because the police had already taken him to the hospital."
Cherisse Halsall "Did Percival feel that he was being targeted for any period of time?"
Evelyn Franklin "No, No, not of what I know no."
Cherisse Halsall "So yesterday when this happened, this was really a shock to you?"
Evelyn Franklin "Shock to everyone not only me right. He was loving and quite, always smiling and that's about it. The whole family started praying because that's the only thing we could do right now, just pray. We heard that the doctor give up on him so, that was it."
