We'll tell you now about Saturday night's murder in PG. As we told you it was a gun the killers were after in Santa Elena, but in Punta Gorda - it was that brand of murderous gang violence that has become all too familiar in that southern town.
Since Friday the town has seen two murders in 48 hours, begging the question of whether the killings are related. We put that question to ACP Myvette earlier today.
ACP Joseph Myvette, Head NCIB

"Also on Saturday sometime around 8:10 P.M. Police were also called to an area along the seaside at the entrance of Punta Gorda town where they observed one Dwayne Myers 49-years sitting inside his white car with apparent gunshot injuries. He again was immediately rushed to the Punta Gorda Community hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. What the police know so far is that Mr. Myers had just reached the area and parked near a bus stop when he was approached by two male persons on a motorcycle who came and fired several shots at him causing injuries, which later led to his death. Upon examining the scene two different types of ammunition were found by the police."
