Tonight, the Hattieville family of 14-year-old Deszina Idolly Smart, a student from Wesley College, is worried about her wellbeing after she went missing on Monday. At this time, the family suspects that she willingly left the safety of her family home and that she might have run away for the very first time.
Her aunt, who is actively looking for her on the family's behalf, told us today that her father is struggling with severe ailments, and that the additional stress of her unknown whereabouts is worsening his health at this time.
This morning, Idolly's aunt begged her to come home:

Dionne Smart - Aunt of Deszina Smart
"Well, she hasn't gone missing before, but we have a little idea. It looked like she ran away or something, but we would really want her to come home because she has her father who is sick, and we wanted her to bear in mind that her father is sick, and this could him because he is worrying. She is 14-year-old; she is sensible. You are aware of what you are doing if you are doing that. Come home. That's all I want to say because we are looking for you. Everybody is worried and asking where you are if we found you. And if you know that you're seeing this, come home."

"Tell us why you all suspect that maybe she may have decided to leave on her own."
Dionne Smart
"Well, because they reside in Hattieville, and her mother told me that she took her school bag and her sandals with her. That's what's missing, and we know that when you take your schoolbag, you may have taken some clothes, whatsoever, so you planned to go somewhere."
Again, the family suspects that she made the decision to leave and that she might be in the company of someone she considers a friend.
