This morning, the press asked the Commissioner about the grieving family's frustration over the lack of official information coming to them from police.

He told us that his investigators have been trying to get to solve this crime without any initial success:

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police
"I don't know what they mean police dumped him at the hospital because when a person is injured, they take them to the hospital, dump means the police went in a vehicle and just throw him at the hospital but I'm sure the police went through the proper process in handing him over to the medical practitioner to do what needs to be done with a view to save him. If in fact there was no follow up by the police in terms of going to the hospital and check to see, I don't know about that because I communicated with Mr. Cowo regularly and I know they were making checks but for what they were told, the young man was in a state of unconsciousness and couldn't answer any questions or anything so there was nothing they could get from him but the police were out within the community searching for clues, searching for answers to try and ascertain what had transpired to the young man. At this time, we still had not been able to find out what actually happened and our investigation into that matter continues."
