Another murder that has yet to be unravelled is the killing of teenager Kwame Williams. The 14-year-old was killed in Dangriga a week ago - and the accused, Dashay Williams is a 24-year-old.
The Commissioner says it may be a case of mistaken identity:

"That arrest was a result of the police investigation. We did identification parades and through that, the suspect was identified and so he was charges yesterday in respect to one Kwame Williams murder." Reporter "Sir any motive for why a 24 year old would want to kill a 14 year old?"
Chester Williams "Well at this time from what our investigation is showing that Kwame Williams was not the intended target and again that the suspect had gone to look for another individual but he could not find that person. Kwame Williams was walking on the street at the same time and he was shot. That just goes to show you the mentality of some of these criminals on these streets, when they cannot find their target, they just turn on anybody just to send a signal or a message."
