26 Year Old Charged For Killing 17 Year Old

Last week, 17-year-old Camron Hernandez was gunned down on his way to catch a bus from Mahogany Heights. Five days later, police have made an arrest, and the perpetrator is almost ten years older than the teenager. 26-year-old Shaquille Perrera was today charged with murder. He appeared before Chief Magistrate Sharon Frazer and no plea was taken. He was unrepresented and due to the nature of the offense, denied bail. He has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison until January 24th, 2022. Apparently, the victim lived long enough to tell police who had shot him.
