Another day, another video of police using excessive and unwarranted force against a civilian. This is the second instance of police abuse that has been captured on camera this month alone - and we're only twelve days in.

The video shows three officers speaking with two civilians, then suddenly one of the officers starts punching one of the men. It's a clear cut case of police assault since the victim wasn't putting up any kind of fight before the attack. And today, the ComPol was upset, saying that they department will soon need another recruitment since they are dismissing officers left, right, and center.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Again, it's outrageous and it seem like some police don't get the memo. We are dismissing police officers every day. I will have to ask the prime minister for another recruit squad, because from the recruit squad that went in and came out in November, we have lost so many police officers to dismissals. It is not out there in the public, every day we are dismissing police for misconduct and it seems like some don't get the memo. As a department we do not countenance those behaviours. As far as I am concerned it is criminal and the officer in question will be dealt with. Unfortunately, from what I have been told the victim do not wish to even cooperate with investigators, but the video is there and we are going to see how we can use that video to use it a disciplinary tribunal against the officer in question."

Reporter
"Apart from that police officer that did the attacking, the others who stood by and watch, will they be held culpable as well?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Not as culpable as the one who did the attack, but they have some role to play and likewise they should be dealt with."
