But even with those quarantined officers, there's still enough cops in the department to go hunting for a plane that landed illegally in Belize. The plane reportedly touched Belizean soil early this morning, near the Sarstoon in the Graham Creek area. But the terrain is rough and inaccessible, and up to this afternoon, police still hadn't been able to reach the landing site. However, we got preliminary details from the ComPol, who said that we shouldn't be quick to call it a drug plane.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"I don't know how you arrive at drug plane. Did you come on that plane, were you the pilot? I don't know. You are emphatic that it is a drug plane. I cannot say at this time that it is a drug plane, but yes we did have information that a plane landed this morning around 2am in the Graham Creek area near the Belize/Guatemala border. The area is heavily vegetated and our troops up to this moment have not been able to reach that location and are trying their utmost best to get there. As soon as we have received confirmed information from our troops on the ground that the plane is there, will give the media an update and I will leave it at that, because we still do have operations going on in the area."
