As we've been reporting, police have been dealign with a number of robberies of delivery trucks, and even flash reports of robberies by scheming delivery men looking to come up on the crime scare.

But, these are crimes of opportunity being seized upon by criminals in the desperate days of the post covid social meltdown, which surely caused a spike in poverty that was already high.

The Commissioner yesterday said he's aware that criminals are targeting delivery trucks - and that's why he's offering free police escorts for these trucks in localized areas:
