And there is also gun violence to report from Hattieville village which has left a resident in critical condition.
Last night at around 11:00, a gunman went to the home of 56 year old Carlton Belisle Sr shouting for his son Carlton Jr. But "Jr" wasn't home - and when his father stepped outside to tell the visitor as much he was shot multiple times.
The victim's wife, Abigail Jordan told us told us that it was more than a shooting; it was a hold up:
Voice Of: Abigail Jordan, Wife of Shooting Victim
"He went outside because he heard somebody hollering and after a while, we didn't hear anything, and after a while, we didn't hear anything. When he went back out there with his flashlight they held him up behind the bus."
Cherisse Halsall:
"When you say they held him up..."
Voice Of: Abigail Jordan, Wife of Shooting Victim
"They put the gun to his head because when they put the gun to his head right and then when he got conscious that it was people with guns he tried to run and they fired shots at him and he fell. When he fell I guess when they shot him up he was all bloody. They probably thought he had died down there or something."
Cherisse Halsall:
"What did you think at that moment?"
Voice Of: Abigail Jordan, Wife of Shooting Victim
"We'll when I heard the shot, I can't walk, I use that thing to walk so I can't go outside. They could have killed him it was like 7 shots, 7 or 8 shots bang, bang, bang, bang you heard the shots. But I couldn't get up so I said i had to call the police first and then call my son. So that the police could come. My son came out and the police hadn't come yet so I called again. Police said the mobile is coming. When I looked out I saw them come but the [shooters] had already run through the back and gone I heard three voices because they were out there for a while you know. I heard three voices but I don't know who it was."
"They came and they screamed for my son which in somebody had to holler who knew him, you understand, because my sons don't go anywhere you know, they stay the other one he works, the two of them do mechanic."
Belisle Sr remains in critical but stable condition.
