But Hyde's was the city's second weekend murder, the first happened on Saturday afternoon when 26-year-old Jeffrey Buller and a friend headed to their neighborhood restaurant to get some takeout.
That's where they were targeted by two gunmen with whom the police believe Buller had a run in with the night before. Here's what ASP Fitzroy Yearwood told the media when asked about the incident earlier today:

"Jeffrey Buller 26-years-old, police responded to a scence on 6th street near a chinese restaurant but when they arrived there Buller was already transported to the KHMH A&E we know that Buller and another person, Bermudez, were at a restaurant at 6th street where they ordered food and were approach by a gunman who fired several shots in their direction, causing several body injuries to Buller. I know that Bermudez was also hit but nothing life threatening and Buller succumbed to his injuries a few minutes later at the KHMH."
"What we know so far. We have two persons detained. They are saying that it is an it was an isolated incident not gang related. Something that transpired between Buller and these two parties earlier that night and it would appear that these two persons followed them and made good on their target."
As you heard, the Police have two suspects detained.
Buller's mother took to Facebook on Saturday to express the pain behind her tears. her post says: "They took my son tonight. They killed him for just God knows why. Rest in Peace my son Jeffrey James Buller. they took you away from me just like that. Sleep on my sweet son. I love you to the end my sweet son. " End quote.
