Last night on the news, you saw the Commissioner of Police lamenting that murder suspect Damion Saldano had been captured and then released. The Commissioner asked the public to help bring him back in to face a murder charge, but he must have missed the memo, because Saldano had already been apprehended earlier that morning. And by this morning the 21 year old was charged for Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder on Benjamin Hyde Sr.
He was arraigned in the Magistrate's Court and remanded to prison this afternoon.
He is alleged to be the gunman in he murder as he joins 23-year-old Shemaud Nunez 18-year-old Azzane Domingo who have both been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Notably, Saldano's father, Edward Saldano Sr was also blamelessly killed some months ago.
