Wagner's Lane resident Shane Budran was killed by his own 19 year old nephew in February of 2020. And tonight, that nephew, Raheem Budran - who's now 21 - and a friend Kareem Eaghan Jr., also 21 - have been found guilty of murder.

It happened in Wagner's Lane, also known as Jump Street, on a Friday night when the two men had a boisterous argument which ended in murder. It ended when Eaghan - at Raheem Budran's directive - pulled the trigger - leaving the victim with 10 shots to the body.

The trial without jury started in June and today Justice Ricardo O'Neil Sandcroft handed down his 50 page decision explaining how he found the men guilty of a joint enterprise for murder.

Though they were identified at the scene by multiple witnesses, in their defense, both men told the court that they were never there - but the judge didn't buy it.

The crown was represented by Riis Cattouse from the DPP's office.

Sentencing is set for July 29, 2022.
