It was just before 6 this morning when a towhead, a tanker truck, and a bus collided into each other near Rhaburn Ridge on the Philip Goldson Highway. That's mega-tons of heavy iron and metal moving at high speeds - and, tonight, the miracle is that no one was fatally injured.
But while there were no deaths, there were different levels of injuries sustained and, of course, all three vehicles received substantial damages.
The two of the three companies involved, Bowen & Bowen and BSI maintain that their vehicles were traveling at legal speed, while the bus company chose not to give comment.
Courtney Menzies has the details in this story:
The bus company is Enriquez Transports, but both the driver and conductor chose not to speak.
The driver of the BSI truck, Jesse Vallecillos, received no injuries.
