LGBTQ Slams Media’s Choice Of Pastor Wade

So, as you just saw, Louis Wade wears two hats - he's the media's representative on the People's Constitution Commission and he's also a spokesperson for the church. And that dualism is why the LGBTQI community is condemning the media's choice of a representative.

This evening, Caleb Orozco of UNIBAM told us via WhatsApp quote, "Wade's nomination to the constitutional commission is unfortunate… He has shown no respect for the fundamental rights of LGBT Belizeans. [He has] opposed basic protection etc. He remains the ultimate religious snake, using the guise of the media to get his foot in the door." End quote.

Orozco is also the LGBTQI representative on the Commission.
