And, again in the north, yet another person, this time 35-year-old Kenya Villamil, would become a victim of a merciless stabbing. It happened last night sometime after 11:45 pm in San Narciso village when Villamil was on her way home, that's when she stumbled upon her ex-common law. He attacked her with a vicious vengeance - stabbing her as many as 12 times to her neck and chest.
Tonight, she is stable but - due to their severity - her injuries are considered life threatening.
She had recently confided in a few friends that he had been threatening her for some time.
But, her sister Neidy Williams didn't know about any of this - so the almost fatal attack has come as a real shock to Kenya's family.
Earlier today Williams spoke to CTV3 telling then that she'd cautioned her sister after they had spotted her troublesome ex glaring at them while watching the Orange Walk Carnival:

Neidy Williams, Sister of Stabbing Victim
"From what I understood her ex, had already finished with her ex for like 8 months and well I know from what she told me that he always used an excuse which is her child. That he is his male child and that he needs him with him to take him but that was just an excuse but when it got like that I said don't let this guy come here because you know. That him playing this card isn't good for you anymore. My sister and I were together yesterday watching the parade all day. I said to her wait for me I'll go with you to your house, but I think she sensed it, she walked away like I was exaggerating the situation and went to her house. At 1:00 in the morning, I got a call from the hospital that my sister was in the hospital in a very grave condition from what they told me she had received 9 stab wounds but when I got here with my mom the doctor told us that it was fourteen stab wounds. Six in her throat one close to her heart and the rest at her sides. But what she told me just recently when we got there because at that point she was still talking. She said sister he wanted to kill me. Sister, he stabbed me in the throat and then he put his finger in it and that hurt. Also, he didn't act alone because he was with his stepson (a relative). She told me that the two of them were there and he said to the boy "tell this BITCH what will happen today tell her how I'm going to leave her, you won't do anything but you're going to witness how I will leave her". I listened to everything my sister said, and it broke me. She has friends in Mexico and one of the girls called me the morning after and told me that my sister had been receiving threats from him ahead of yesterday in the afternoon before she left but that's was she was running because we saw him in the parade but she never. She was with me all day and she wasn't drinking because she was on meds. And when she told me that I asked but my sister told you this? That he had been threatening her she said yes."
Prime suspect 35-Year-old Myron Palencia remains on the run tonight. Police have information that he was in Guinea Grass Village and may have been trying to skip the border through Botes.
