Security Supervisor Charged For Guns

A security firm employee is in jail tonight after she was was busted with two of her work guns - for which she had no permit.

37-year-old Merlene Agneta Clark, a Security Supervisor who lives in the Milpa Area of Ladyville, Clark appeared before a Senior Magistrate in this morning where she was read two counts of kept firearm without a gun license and one count of kept ammunitions without a license.

Police say they found her last week Friday with two loaded nine millimeter pistols in a backpack on Pigeon Street in Ladyville. She allegedly told police that the guns belonged to her work place and that she has a license to carry the weapons. But that is only from her work place to her post, which is why she was arrested and charged.
