By now, you probably know that the Briceno Government has made the digitalization of all government services a national development priority. The two years of the COVID crisis and the resulting social distancing rules forced all public and private organizations to develop a robust online presence.
Those online services allowed business, education, and recreation to continue, while Belizeans were stuck at home for months due to lockdowns and other limitations. But as viewers are aware, the government has decided to make E-governance a significant part of interactions between government departments and the general public.
Yesterday, a group of public officers within the new E-Governance and Digitalization Unit completed the second training cohort hosted by the government and the United Nations Development Program.
