A Gun In A Bus

Police found a gun that was being transported on a passenger bus.

At around 3:45 p.m. today, police were conducting a checkpoint on the George Price Highway near St. Margaret's Village in the Cayo District. The officers stopped a bus and decided to search it. They eventually found a blue checkered knapsack that no one claimed. When the officers opened it, they found a 9-millimeter Smith and Wesson Firearm, which had a magazine containing 11 live rounds of ammunition.

Again, no one claimed the bag, so the loaded weapon was deposited as found property.
