There was a big money robbery this morning on Mahogany Street, and it happened just a block down from the police substation.

At about 11:45 two men robbed 32 year old Chandra Prakash who was doing cash pickups at CK Supermarket. Two men on bicycles rode up on him - one of them pulled out a firearm and demanded his bag. The other man then slid in and snatched the bag which contained more than twenty thousand dollars in cash and fifteen thousand dollars in cheques. The men then rode off in different directions on the always busy street. Police have not made any arrests.
