The old police rule of thumb is that when kilos start floating, bodies start falling - and according to the cops, a kilo was found on an island - but they won't say where.

Well, they did initially say where, but then the commissioner retracted that. Here's the story as we first got it from the police press office:

"On Monday morning Police responded to a report in Caye Chapel that late on Sunday night, one of the private island's Security Guards discovered a black rectangular parcel on the beach. Weighing at just under two kilos, police observed the content to be suspected Cocaine."

But, shortly after that release went out, the Commissioner put this voice message in the media chat:

Voice of: Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Good afternoon members of the media, kindly note in respect to report #2 and the photograph of the pack of cocaine, the cocaine was not found on Caye Chapel."

Media workers immediately texted back to ask where it was actually found. And though the commissioner surely saw our messages, 7 hours later, he still hasn't responded - so all we can say is that it is a kilo on a Caye.
