Back in 2018, PC Osborne Martinez lost his life while on duty. He was killed by an armed robber when he and his colleagues came under fire while responding to a robbery in progress at Belcove hotel.
Well tonight, two men have placed guilty to killing him.
The accused were 25-year-old Glen Berkman Lopez, 23-year-old Rayford Krisler Mejia, and 22-year-old, Tyrique Myles.
Today in court Myles and Lopez pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter.
Their alleged accomplice Mejia is maintaining his innocence and taking his chances with a trial without jury before Justice Sandcroft.
We heard more about both cases this afternoon from Attorney O.J. Elrington.
O.J. Elrington, Attorney-At-Law "Well as you indicated, initially, my client was charged with murder amongst a number of other offenses and after we examined the unique circumstances that were before the court and after advice he made the decision that he would plead to manslaughter as opposed to run the current and risk the consequences of getting convicted of murder."

O.J. Elrington, Attorney-At-Law
"Well, sentencing is scheduled to take place on the 5th of December when my client will also have the opportunity to offer his pleas in mitigation and at that time the judge will render his decision as to the sentence."
They are set to be sentenced on December 5th Mejía is represented by attorney, Oscar Selgado.
Mejia is the only one of the three men who was able to secure Supreme Court bail and is out on bail while Lopez and Myles have been on remand for the last 4 years and remain in custody until their sentencing.
