As you heard in the interview with ComPol Chester Williams, police don't believe that 23-year-old Kyle Latchman was abducted or killed. That's certainly what his family fears, and they have reported him missing. But, this time, the cops suspect that Latchman went into hiding to protect himself from Petillo and his associates. Latchman and Petillo were reputed to be friends currently going through a major dispute. You previously heard the Commissioner make the point that they think that Emert Flowers was killed because the shooters were looking for his son Kyle Latchman.
The Commissioner told the press today that he hopes that Latchman will come forward and help police to bring his father's killer or killers to justice:
Reporter
"Is there an ongoing search for him, although you believe he is in hiding?"

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police
"We are in search of him. We do want to find him to find out what may have transpired between him and his own friends because you would know that Kyle Lachman and Ronlee Petillo are friends. So, finding him and getting the information we need certainly will help the investigation going forward."
Daniel Ortiz
"But, sir, you have acknowledged that maybe he's in hiding because he's afraid. Why would he want to bring a bigger target on his back by cooperating with your investigators?"
Chester Williams
"Well, for me, if anyone were to kill my mother or my father, I wouldn't be concerned about any threat to my life then. I would make sure that whoever is responsible is brought to justice. And I would hope that he would have that mentality."
We know that tonight police are looking fro two suspects - both from RockyRoad in connection with the murder of Latchman's father, Emert Flowers.
