And from the city to the south…in August, 62-year-old Randolph Parham Sr was knocked off his bicycle in a hit and run in Eldridgeville, Toledo. Before the accident, he was an active man, riding to Punta Gorda Town often and even participating in marathons. But the incident changed everything, and now Parham doesn't have much longer to live.

That's because he developed terminal cancer and is unable to take chemotherapy. Now, his family has banded together to ensure the rest of his life is as comfortable as possible. And they've come to the public to ask for blood donations to keep their father alive for even just a little bit longer.

One of his sons, Rudolph Parham, spoke to us today.

The Parham family can be reached at phone numbers 6705118 or 6283545.
