Punta Gorda's May Day Supermarket became the victim of a robbery this afternoon at around 12:00 when two men in brown hoodies forced their way in and held the shopkeeper at gunpoint.

And in this minute-long video obtained by 7 News one of the gunmen can be heard cautioning the shopkeeper not to move, after they pushed him to the ground - while encouraging his partner to move faster to grab the cash. He even calls him by a nickname that sounds to us like "Latch". Here's a look at what happened - we warn you the video is somewhat violent:

The robbers are said to have made off with between one and two thousand dollars in cash.
