Tonight, a desperate father is begging the public to help him find his missing son.
Luciano Reyes Sr. stopped by the 7News studio to explain that his 22-year-old namesake, who had recently begun to exhibit strange behaviour due to mental illness, disappeared from their home last month.
Now, Reyes fears that his son could end up offending someone and getting hurt in the process. Here's more.

"Last time I saw my son was last month on the 22nd and from then I haven't seen him again."

"What were the circumstances?"

"He was at home, and I went to work and I said I was going to do something and I told him so I will come back but when my sister, when I got home, I didn't see him when I came home at about 5:00, 5:30."
"I got back and I said I would look for him and my sister told me um he's gone, he's not here, he went out but I was saying maybe he went to a friend or went to spend a week or something so I said maybe like how he knows people he could spend a little time somewhere right because when he came back he had a nerve shock. So it's like he's disabled and he's starting to go through some shocks so he's started to forget people and not remember people, so I don't know, and that's why I'm asking for him because I don't know where he is and he left in shock and people might hurt him and people might think he understands and then he doesn't understand."
"I need to tend to him because I have an appointment. I went to the hospital, and he had arrived at the hospital but the doctor wasn't paying him mind so when I came back down because I wasn't here, I was in Placencia and when I came back I didn't know that this was happening to him. He started to change he was never like this. He wasn't mentally ill before. It's the first time I've ever seen that in my life."
Cherisse Halsall:
"What do you think has happened, is it that someone harmed him or did he just leave the home of his own volition and maybe because of his altered state doesn't know how to get back?"

"I think he doesn't know how to get back. He doesn't know how to get back and I really want to see him because I am his parent, he doesn't have a mom, his mom passed away so I am the only one that can reach out to him."
"Please I am begging because I'm praying every day, and I know that god will protect him and things but I have faith and I just want to know if he is okay because I want him to get help, right, and then it's burning me inside because I can't rest."
Luciano Reyes Jr. disappeared while wearing short grey pants, a white checkered shirt, grey slippers, and a mauve backpack. His father describes the state of his hair at the time as "wild out."
