A second teenager has been charged for the January 12th murder of 66-year-old, Emert Flowers.

The 17 year old minor was today arraigned in the Belize City Magistrate's Court for murder. This is after he was detained last Thursday in Roaring Creek.

Due to the charge, he was remanded at the Wagners Youth Facility where he is due back in Court on March 13th. That's when he will appear for the first time with his co-accused, 18-year-old, Adrian Andrew Hernandez, a student and resident of Berkley Street, Belize City.

When he appeared in court today, the minor had visible injuries to one of his hands and the Magistrate ordered that he be taken first to the hospital for medical treatment before he is remanded into custody.
