And keeping it in the south - deep in the Toledo District, there are reports that, for the first time in about 8 months, a suspected drug plane had landed in Belize. Those reports also stated that it had been burnt, as they are normally found.
But today, the ComPol could not confirm those reports yet, saying only that officers are in the area.

"We did have an aircraft in our airspace last night, as a matter of fact we hardly got any sleep because we were monitoring that aircraft from it left South America and it vanished in our airspace in the Toledo district. At this time I'm not going to say much in respect thereof because we do have officers on the ground conducting operations and I wouldn't want to jeopardize the operations being done at this time."
