And in other news, over the past two days, we brought you the story of the murder of mother of two, Mirza Morales. She was killed while washing dishes in her restaurant in El Progresso Village on the Pine Ridge road. And yesterday, her ex and a man described as a person of interest turned himself in to the police. Today we asked the ComPol for an update on Christian Espat.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I know that he's the subject of an investigation, he was a person of interest, he did turn himself in yesterday with his attorney, the police are interviewing him to see whether or not he may have something to do with the murder of the lady in Progresso Village. Those interviews are still ongoing and as soon as the interviews are over, if the police feel satisfied that he was a part of what took place then yes he will be charged, if they don't feel so then he will be released from custody."

Courtney Menzies:
"Is he the only person of suspect right now?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"At this time yes he's the main person of interest."

Espat and his attorney told the police he was out of the country at the time of the murder - and he has passport stamps to prove it. He adds that he and Mirza had broken up two years earlier.
