And in what might be called a piece of law enforcement trivia, 7 news received a video this week where the daughter of a well known senior police officer is captured on camera playing around with a firearm. We confirmed with the father today, Assistant Superintendent Aaron Gamboa that his daughter is not a licensed firearm holder. And when we consulted with the Compol he claimed that he had no knowledge of the video.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Certainly Mr Gamboa's daughter is not a licensed firearm holder. I have not seen the video you are speaking about but I would love if you can send it to me, so in the absence of not seeing it then I cannot comment much about it. But if that is so then something needs to be done to ensure that there is no recurrence. We will have to again look at the date when the video was made, and if it was made and if it was done after the directives was given in terms of persons holding firearm that they don't have license for, then we have to see what needs to be done.

ASP Gamboa says his daughter - who is from a previous relationship - is now in the USA - and that she has made life choices as an adult which he does not support.
