Yesterday evening, police searched Nia Clother's house in Mahogany Heights where they found 117 grams - or about 4 ounces of marijuana.
Today in court, Clother pleaded guilty and was fined 600 dollars instead of being confined to prison. The Senior Magistrate noted that she was a first time offender and that she pleaded guilty and saved the court's time. But because of the quantity of the weed - she was still fined.
