All this week, Christian Espat has been Belize's most wanted, and tonight, the alleged triple murderer is in the holding cell at the San Pedro police station.

Reliable reports to 7News are that he was intercepted at the northern border this morning where he was detained. Police then escorted him to San Pedro on a local airline, and when he got there, police shut down traffic for a short while as they rushed this very important prisoner to the police station.

His attorney Linden Jones is currently at the police station talking to investigators on behalf of his client.

Meanwhile, his alleged accomplice Michael Brown - who turned himself in yesterday - has been charged for 3 counts of Murder, (3) counts Attempted Murder and (3) Counts Use of Deadly Means of Harm. This is for the shooting deaths of 25 year old Delmar Rodriguez, his 3 year old Amarie Rodriguez, and 24 year old Carlos Chi - as well as gunshot injuries to four other people in the area late on Sunday night in San Pedro town.

And in an update to one of the stores in our top segment, the police press office just confirmed that Christian Espat has been charge for the San Pedro triple murder

Just like his accomplice Robert Brown, Police formally arrested and charged Christian Kalim Espat for the crime of (3) counts Murder, (3) counts Attempt Murder and (3) Counts Use of Deadly Means of Harm.
