Yesterday, we told you about 52-year-old Dean Halliday, who attacked his ex-girlfriend with a knife and somehow ended up dead.
His death is still being investigated, and up until yesterday, the victim and her daughter were detained by police.
And the family is concerned since surveillance footage clearly shows him hopping her fence despite a restraining order. Courtney Menzies compiled the footage today and has this story.
This video shows 52-year-old Dean Halliday walking towards his ex-girlfriend's house in Maxboro. The woman, 42-year-old Farah Bonner, had a restraining order against him, but that did not stop him from jumping her fence and hiding out in her yard.
Not long after, two of Bonner's daughters leave the house, having no idea what Halliday had planned.
They slowly make their way to the store, but not a minute passes before they start hearing their mother's screams.
The oldest daughter hears Bonner yelling her nickname, and quickly runs back to see what is happening.
She quickly unlocks the gate and rushes inside, while the other daughter runs around the house.
After that, the surveillance camera doesn't show much, but Bonner's screams can still be heard.
Halliday had attacked Bonner, stabbing her multiple times, then turning the weapon on her daughter who was trying to pull him off of her mother.
Yesterday, Bonner's sister recounted the terrifying ordeal.

"She received, I can't tell you what all transpired, but I know as he entered the premise, he started inflicting wounds to my sister, my sister has multiple wounds under her chin where she had to receive stitches for. She got stabs, one centimeter away from where she could have been dead at that given moment. She has several stabs under her neck, she has cut wounds on her face, her lip is burst open, she has cuts between her fingers from holding the blade, she has stab wounds on her chest, or cuts, whatever, I don't know the details. Her daughter whom they are saying about did not do that because she did not have any weapon. She actually got inflicted wounds to her breast, the side of her breast because I guess whatever situation happened, the point is that she was stabbed in her breast, on her chest, on her side, wherever other parts of the body but they were severely hurt because this person, whatever his reasoning, I know he used to tell her she cannot leave him or he would kill her but you know you never really think those things. My family they are in total distress and very sorry for this, nobody planned this, he went there with his intentions and they acted in self defense."
And in the end, it was Halliday that ended up dead. But while police reports state it was the daughter that stabbed him, the family denies these claims. Now, this mother and daughter are anxiously awaiting their fate, after years of alleged abuse at Halliday's hands.
As we mentioned yesterday, the family is fearing for their lives after receiving death threats.
