Among the many families who have searched endlessly for their loved ones that have disappeared, is the family of Anisha "Annie" Young.
It's been exactly 5 years since their beloved relative never made it home after attending a Christmas party in 2018.
Her Cousin Sherlee Salgado met up with us today, and spoke a bit about how they continue to keep their hope for closure alive:
Sheree Salgado, Cousin of Aniesha

"You have to be in our shoes to really understand. Nothing has ever been the same since you know. We believe if we would have laid her to rest that we would have probably had some type of closure but because she disappeared and vanished without a trace we cannot really get back on track because we don't know what happened. Where she's at, we don't know anything, nobody, you know people would send text and say this took place, that took place but we don't actually know the facts so it's hard on occasions like birthdays and Christmas it's always hard. We always try to post her every so often on our social media sometimes we would just probably, somebody would have a dream about her and we will post her so that you know maybe if someone sees her face and finds it in their heart to say something so we never actually close within us. Maybe with the police they did but not the family so we always keep hope alive by posting her picture."
