And we also told you about the other murder over the long weekend, 28-year-old Trevor Brown, who was killed in the parking lot of Thirsty Thursday. Yesterday the ComPol explained that after reviewing the security tape, it's possible that a case for self defense can be made.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"In respect to that matter at thirsty Thursdays or in the parking lot of Thirsty Thursdays. It is not a straight forward matter it is rather a complex, due to the circumstances under which it occurs. I have been privy to a video footage which depicts certain things which I don't want to rehash the content of the video footage but certainly it raised an element of self defense and so we rather leave that matter for the DPP to determine so the investigators will be putting the file together and will be sending the file along with the video footage to the DPP and we will be guided by whatever decision is made by her. I don't want it to come across as the police are the one making the decision in terms of the charges. And in respect to the license of the firearm one of them was licensed, the one that was held by Pascascio the other one that was with Brown was not licensed. And from what we are gathering is that some individual who was with Brown, made off with the firearm that he had. But we are sure that he had one because the video footage clearly shows that he was shooting at Pascascio. So there is certainly no doubt there. In respect to the Firearm for Pascascio that is with the police at this time."
