But, in a sensational turn of events - the main suspect in this crime was shot to death by police this afternoon.
Cruz Castillo - who recently got off a murder charge and is a notorious figure in the west - had taken up employment with Shane Baizar and was staying at his property.
According to the ComPol, Castillo became violent after Baizar asked him to leave. He gave us an update on the police's investigation today.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Investigators found traces of blood inside the home and on a wheelbarrow and so that began to indicate to the police that something fishy may have gone wrong and again the house was also found open which based on the accounts of the neighbors is something that would not be usual in Mr. Baizar's movements and we continue to do our search and we gathered certain information of a person who may have been involved, and that information led us to St. Matthew's Village, where Mr. Baizar's vehicle was recovered. Not too far from the home of the brother of the person whom we had suspected, who I must say at this

time is one, Cruz Castillo. Again, this morning the police went back into the area of Bermudan Landing, and they found a shallow grave, and inside a shallow grave, the decomposed body of Mr. Baizar was found. From what we gathered is that Mr Castillo used to work for Mr Baizar, and he knew that Ms. Baizar had gone to the bank to do a withdraw, and had asked Mr Baizar for some money, and Baizar gave him $20 and told him to leave and not to return."
"That seems to have aggravated him, and based on that, he eventually did what he did to Mr Baizar."
