And while there may be a possibility that Young is being facilitated by family members, the clock is ticking to find him as he still remains at large with a weapon and there is no predicting what he may do next. This leaves room for the possibility that he could still try to harm his ex-girlfriend who was beside Baptist in the vehicle the night he was killed. Incredibly, the commissioner says police weren't aware of any threat to her:

"We have not gotten that information while I certainly have not heard it. It is the first time I am hearing it. If that is indeed, so then that is sad again from a policing standpoint, we do not have the resources to mind people like that. But we would certainly be able to put things in place to minimize That occurrences, and I do believe that the young lady having that information at her she would also be looking at her own personal security in somewhere the other, and I encourage her to do so. So if it's that we were to get credible information that that is going to happen, then yes, we will ensure that we act on it and prevent it from occurring."
When we visited her home on Monday, there was no police presence.
