The second murder occurred about 6 hours later, in the Kings Park area. Just before 11 on Friday night, 30-year-old Nigel Williams was killed while driving his taxi, a long way from home. It's not uncommon for him to be in that area, however, since it's where his girlfriend lives. And that has led police to believe, like Lewis, he was also ambushed by someone who studied his routine. Courtney Menzies spoke with his sister today and has this story.

On Friday night, Kings Park residents were shocked when gunshots rang out. In the aftermath, this Toyota 4Runner found in a drain on St Peter's Street, and the body of 30-year-old Nigel Williams was lying dead at the corner of St Joseph and St Thomas Streets.

Williams was a taxi driver who'd just dropped off his girlfriend in the area and was headed home to Haulze Street when a gunman opened fire on him. His sister said by the time she got to the scene, he'd already been killed.

Voice of: Sister of Deceased
"My sister called me from the states and told me that a police just contacted her that they used to go to school with and told her that they just shot Nigel and he died. So we went out there and when I reached out there he was on the ground, dead."

Courtney Menzies:
"Did he ever tell you guys that maybe he was fearing for his life?"

Voice of: Sister of Deceased
"No that's what has left us so traumatized because we are like, why? Why did they kill him for? And then the way that the killed him, it was like they wanted to kill him. But we're puzzled as to why."

Courtney Menzies:
"And is he usually in that area of Kings Park?"

Voice of: Sister of Deceased
"Yes because he goes to drop his girlfriend."

Courtney Menzies:
"Did she say anything, if he was acting strange?"

Voice of: Sister of Deceased
"She didn't say anything, she said nothing strange was happening. She said he never mention he had anything with anybody. He just dropped her home and then a little bit after that she heard some shots, like around the lane from her."

Police were quick to spring into action and have so far arrested the person they believe is responsible:

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"An investigation was carried out and since then we have arrested and charged Tyrike Supal, 23 years, for the crime of murder."

Courtney Menzies:
"What's the motive?"

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"We have not established a motive, he was in the area visiting his girlfriend when he was targeted."

"As soon as he turned a lane in the area, the person was there with the firearm and fired shots towards him."

Reporter:
"He's not known to police? The victim."

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"Yes he's known."

Courtney Menzies:
"And is the suspect known to police as well?"

ACP Hilberto Romero, OCED
"The suspect is known to police as well."

But according to Williams' sister, they didn't know him to be a troublemaker - just a father of two who loved to have fun.

Voice of: Sister of Deceased
"In shock, because my little brother is just a person who is filled with life and everybody who know Nigel knows that he is not a problem person. He likes music, he likes to dance, he is always the life of the party everywhere he is. He doesn't even need people to have fun. Sometimes he just comes, he parks in front of here, and he just plays his music, smokes his weed, and he's is just partying. Sometimes I would tell him, Devoy, what are you doing? Because we call him Devoy. He said, it's a one man party right now. And my brother just sits down out there and just parties."

"He run taxi so if it was something where he had problems with somebody or feared for his life, he wouldn't be going about running taxi because he would be in fear for his life so we just left in shock and I just want them to know that they really hurt our family and it was a senseless killing because it didn't make any sense to take my little brother's life because he's not into whatever they're into. My brother was born and grew up back here. He knows everybody back here but my brother is not a gunman, my brother is not hanging out with the crowd and stuff like that so they chanced him and then they hunt him down like that and chase him and finished him and killed him like a real dog in the street and it hurts but all I could say God isn't sleeping and to each his own."

His sons are ages ten and one.
